About the author

My biggest passions in life are training people to train their dogs, helping family dogs with problems, and writing books and articles about pet behaviour.

I am a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist and dog trainer. I run puppy classes, one-to-one training sessions, and work with dogs and cats with problems with my business Pawprint.

I have full membership with the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). I qualified with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers in 1997 and am an Associate Member (ABIPDT).

I am author of two books on dog behaviour for family dogs ‘What your Dog Wants’ (Hamlyn). and 21 Days to the Perfect Dog (Hamlyn). I am resident dog trainer and behaviourist contributor for Dogs Today magazine, PetFocus, Pet Product Marketing and PETS International. I write for famous trainer Dr Ian Dunbar’s Dog Star Daily blog and my own blog and WildPaw podcast.
