Sheila Muckle was born in 1942 and grew up in the north East of England. She was an English and Music teacher as well as a national floral art demonstrator and teacher. She has always had a passion for both gardening and her dogs and these two interests are usually reflected in her books. She is now retired and writes both for herself and as a ghost writer for many other clients- 16 books to date. One of her greatest writing pleasures is in producing books for children and she plans more of these in the near future.
