ParkPups was born out of a love of reading and the excitement of engaging with much loved characters. As a result, reading and literacy are at the heart of the ParkPups experience and all our songs, activities and competitions radiate out from our books. At ParkPups, the stories are delivered to you direct from the writer and illustrator and our priority is to provide high-quality, entertaining stories that have a life beyond the screen.
Jane Marlow
Writer/Creator
After completing her french degree at QMUL, Jane trained at Mountview Theatre School and spent 10 years working as a professional singer and actress on stage, TV, radio and children’s theatre. She them moved into journalism and wrote for teen titles, broadsheets and glossy magazines before joining Broadcast magazine as an editor and feature writer. Now a novelist and scriptwriter, Jane has worked on many of the UK’s most popular shows including Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Bad Girls, Coronation Street and was part of the Writer’s Guild Award-wining writing team on the Bill.

Anna Todd
Illustrator
Anna has always loved drawing funny dogs, but she started off with a degree in Fine Art from Oxford University where she learnt how to draw and paint “properly”. She has worked as an artist for over twenty years and has had solo exhibitions and group shows around the UK. A trained teacher, Anna has also worked in all sorts of schools doing fun and exciting art projects, and more recently she has gained a Distinction in her MA degree in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art.
